Add the convenience and reliability of a new column built specific for your vehicle. This steering column is not a universal column that requires modification of your original vehicle to install. Simply remove your old column, saving your original under dash mount as well as the original floor mount. Using one of our installation kits (see table below), install your new steering column in place of the old. Add an aftermarket wheel and the gripping surface of the new wheel will be in the same location as the original.

Rag Joint Part # 3000054340

Installation Kits: The original rag joint is not always removable. In some vehicles the rag joint is pressed on the lower shaft of the column. If your column has a press fit rag joint, the rag joint will need to be replaced. If the rag joint is removable, the original can be used. Remember the original rag joint is nearly 40 years old, so be sure to double check that it’s in good condition. ididit inc. always recommends replacement of the rag joint.
