Add the convenience and reliability of a new column built specific for your GM Truck. This steering column is not a universal column that requires modification of your original vehicle to install. Simply remove your old column, saving your original under-dash mount, as well as the original floor mount. Using one of our installation kits (see table below), install your new steering column in place of the old. Add an aftermarket wheel and the griping surface of the new wheel will be in the same location as the original.

1947-54: For the 1947-54 Chevy Trucks simply use the pieces provided (Underdash Mount & Floor Mount) with the new column to affix the column to the dash and firewall.

1955-59: For the 1955-59 Chevy Trucks ididit will be including a Delrin cover for the original gearbox, an Underdash Mount & Floor Mount to replace the original.

If using a stock box to connect your new 1955-59 Chevy Truck column you will need a Coupler (3/4"DDx1"DD) Part Number: 3000315249. If you are installing the column with any other type of application you will use a U-Joint & Shaft.

If your 1955-59 Chevy Truck was equipped with turn signals you will need a wiring harness and depending on the year of the truck will depend on the kits part number that is recommended for you. 1955 - 3100035775, 1956 - 3100035780 & 1957-59 - 3100035785. If your truck did not come with factory turn signals use our Female End Plug to connect your wiring (Part Number: 3106050010).
