2008 ididit Car Show & Open House

Each year (the first weekend of October) ididit opens their doors in hopes that the weather will be sunny and the cars will roll in from all over Michigan and the surrounding states (and even Canada).  We will all gather for one day and  enjoy the hot rodding life.  

October 4th 2008 ididit incorporated celebrated another successful year in the Hot Rod, Street Rod and Muscle Car industry with their yearly Car Show & Open House.  The cold and brisk weather was just the early morning price to pay to be part of the coolest car show around.  After the sun came out the temperature started warming up and the cars and trucks started pouring onto the streets of Tecumseh, Michigan. 

This year ididit handed out a Free Steering Column to one lucky participant.  Many others won some special gifts that were donated from our friends that manufacture great products.  One man received a free Lokar shifter for his '32 Ford, another won a Be Cool Radiator.  Free stuff wasn’t the only thing that ididit was eager to give to their attendees,  key chains with ididit’s logo were handed out to all pre-registered car owners who came to the show. 

When a manufacture opens its doors such as ididit did this October, you know who truly supports this hobby.  Although Ken and Jane Callison didn’t invent the Hot Rod they did in 1986 invent one of the most popular lines of steering columns in the automotive aftermarket industry.  With ididit's Open House and building a steering column the attendees had a great chance to learn more about the industry. 

Because the ididit Car Show and Open House was such a success in the prior years The City gave us permission to close Maumee Street (where ididit is located) and some of our attendees got to park right in the street!   ididit again hit record numbers in attendance this year and it’s all thanks to our customers, friends, family and lovers of this incredible hobby. 

Our photographer had his day full of taking pictures, but because of that we are able to share with you the car show in our eyes.  All of us at ididit incorporated want to thank all of the attendees of the car show and we hope to see everyone back next year!
